Upgrading four SAP environments in one month
The background
The customer, which operates in the automotive industry, needed to upgrade its current SAP S/4 system to gain access to increased business functionality quickly. This meant that the customer needed to ensure that the infrastructure for rolling out FIORI apps was not affected by the upgrade. The challenge we faced was, among other things, that the timetable was very short, the requirement was to complete the upgrade in just over a month for all four SAP environments.
The assignment
Implema Business Solution supported the customer with its expertise in SAP infrastructure and development, activation and implementation of FIORI apps. The project was successful and it was carried out within the tight schedule and the upgrade did not cause any disruption to the business. In addition, the activation and upgrade of FIORI apps was carried out smoothly.
