Background

Implema is leading the migration of existing SAP systems from On-Premise installations to the latest technology in cloud solutions and is among the first to migrate such a large implementation to Microsoft Azure.

Microsoft Azure is a cloud platform from Microsoft used to build and host web applications through Microsoft's data centers. Windows Azure is classified as a platform service and is a significant part of Microsoft's strategy around cloud services and their SaaS offering, Microsoft Online Services.

The assignment

The customer is a large manufacturing company in western part of Sweden - with a modern and clear agenda regarding both SAP and cloud-based services. Implema is driving and leading the work in close collaboration with the customer.
