Background

On behalf of a company in the energy sector in Sweden, Implema Business Solutions conducted a pre-study linked to the traceability of incoming goods to the company's warehousing operations. 

The pre-study included a requirements analysis and mapping of the various solution alternatives. Three different scenarios were painted as likely paths forward. On the one hand, the project looked at the company's existing system solution (SAP) and the possibilities that existed in developing this through, for example, the introduction of SAP Warehouse Management, and on the other hand, a third-party product was considered.

Assignment

The goal was to find the most optimal way forward for the company and great emphasis was placed on aspects such as user-friendliness, scalability, security and mobility. The project included a rough mapping out of possible solutions and proposals for measures and steps forward.
